Devotional: Spiritual Resiliency
Author: Rev Lydia D’Ross, Renewal Outreach Chaplin at Brookhaven Hospital, Tulsa OK
We face challenges every day. At times we feel weak not physically but spiritually. “Too often, people have a tendency to get stuck in the worst-case scenario of a particular situation,” explained Sgt. 1st Class Edward Neroes, an Army Test and Challenge Command chaplain’s assistant.
You can bounce back from life challenges! You can turn your situation around by becoming resilient. Even when it feels hard and it may cost time in the presence of the Lord, it will be worth it. You are not a failure. God created you to be successful in every area of your life.
Exodus 23v 20 “Behold, I am going to send an angel before you to guard you along the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. 21″Be on your guard before him and obey his voice; do not be rebellious [resilient] toward him,..”
God has provided everything for you to be successful. Begin your prayer life by just simply praying to God out of your heart! For He knows what is in your heart and He is eager to have a relationship with you and through eternity.
If you are struggling and need help, call us. We are here for you!
