RENEWAL Devotional: Shield of Strength

Being your best is not just about shielding ourselves from negative darts, but also taking care of yourself physically, so that we don’t feel weary.
When we don’t eat right or sleep well, it affects our emotions. When we are stressed, we might eat too much or not enough. We must find a healthy balance.
It takes spiritual conditioning to shield up and be strong in every area of our lives. Watch for those darts, that want to weigh us down. We must be strong physically and spiritually to face what lies ahead.
Are you shielded up? It can help to do a spiritual evaluation to assess your strength. Read the book of Ephesians chapter 5 this week and apply the armor that shields us up for the unexpected.
