RENEWAL Devotional: Spiritual Purity
Written by Lydia D’Ross, Ordained Minister and Outreach Chaplain for Renewal at Brookhaven Hospital
Everything in life is an incredible gift from God. Believers in Christ are called to be distinct from the rest of the world. We are judged by our fruits, how we live and what we profess out of our mouths. It is not easy being a Christian, but for God’s immeasurable grace. You need to live your life as if Christ will be returning today and purpose your life, as if Christ will return in a thousand years.
Leading a life that is spiritually pure does not happen overnight. It is a daily process of having an intimate relationship with our heavenly Father.
Being spiritually pure means that we honor our heavenly Father by living a life of integrity and obedience.
Mathew 22:36-40 says that the most important call in life involves loving God and loving others. We live with a new focus, a new goal every day of loving God and loving others.
As a believer, this distinguishes us from the rest of the world.
If you are struggling and need help, call us. We are here for you!
