Understanding Depression: The Common Cold of the Emotional Life

Many high profile people throughout history have experienced depression. Depression can occur in anyone, including Christians who put their faith and trust in Christ. The following article discusses the symptoms and causes of depression and profiles of Christians suffering from it.

Someone has called depression the common cold of emotional illnesses. It is a problem that affects many people and is often misunderstood, misdiagnosed, and confused with lack of faith. Believing Christians and those who minister to others are most certainly not immune to depression.”
